Croydon Male Voice Choir

Our choir was founded in 1975 and now has about 70 members. We sing a diverse repertoire: show-biz numbers, folk song, classical favourites, anthems, hymns and the like. We perform some ten concerts a year in and near Croydon and also undertake an annual tour - recent examples include Norwich, Peterborough and Gloucester. We have a dynamic new music director who is expanding our repertoire and developing our techniques. We rehearse in a local sports club, which has a well-stocked bar, and we have a strong social life too, with regular Friday night sings in pubs and a walking group which undertakes a 5-6 mile outing every three weeks or so. We work hard at our singing and it brings us great enjoyment too.
