The New Essex Choir has been around for over 60 years! Based in Barkingside, in the London Borough of Redbridge, our members are just people who love to share the joy of singing with each other and the community around them.
We are a non-auditioning choir that performs two or three times a year. We meet most Friday evenings during term time and welcome new singers all year round.
We enjoy singing a wide variety of styles and genres of music, from Bach to Bernstein, Classical to Jazz, and new music by local composers.
Choirslist is organized into regional sites across the UK. We’ve launched in London in 2024, and will open up other cities and regions to match local demand.
