Jubilate's slogan is 'Voices in Celebration', reflecting our love of singing and laughter. We take our singing seriously but not ourselves! Achievements include winning Most Entertaining Choir and coming second at the Peterborough International Women's Choral Festival in June 2023, winning the Single Voice category in July 2022 at the International Choral Festival in Cardiff, singing at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Beacon Lighting Ceremony in June 2022, and even carol singing in the EastEnders Christmas Eve 2021 episode! We are a welcoming bunch who love to socialise as well as sing together. When we asked our members for some words to describe us, their responses included 'inspiring', 'fun', 'playful', 'focused', 'uplifting', 'caring'...and 'lifesaving'.
Jubilate is an award-winning choir with around 40 members. Led by professional singer and choral director Sarah Stroh, the choir is known for its entertaining repertoire, high standard of performance and sense of fun. Jubilate's slogan is 'Voices in Celebration', which reflects our love of singing and laughter. We take our singing seriously but not ourselves!
