St Peter's Vauxhall is an Anglican church next to Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens, where Handel and J. C. Bach once played. The beautiful Victorian church has superb acoustics and an amazing T. C. Lewis organ. The choir currently sings once a month, performing ambitious repertoire (recently we have done Parry 'I was Glad', Brahms 'How Lovely Are Thy Dwellings, Howells 'Gloucester Service', Fauré 'Cantique de Jean Racine', Bainton 'I Saw a New Heaven' etc. We are looking for new members.
Choirslist is organized into regional sites across the UK. We’ve launched in London in 2024, and will open up other cities and regions to match local demand.
