We are a well-established South West London chamber choir, formed in 1950, which is part of the vibrant musical life of the London Borough of Merton. Over the years, the choir has enjoyed associations with many famous names, including Sir Colin Davis, Brian Kay, Paul Hillier and, more recently, Roderick Williams, James Gilchrist, Iestyn Davies and Sofi Jeannin. The choir has a wide ranging repertoire from renaissance motets to jazz standards and music by living composers, such as Bob Chilcott ,and Morten Lauridsen. The choir's purpose is to develop an appreciation of music, through the presentation of three public choral concerts each season, in a venue accessible to the general public, where a wide variety of sacred and secular music is performed.
