Take Twenty, formerly the Primrose Hill Singers, was the first amateur jazz choir in London. It emerged from an adult education class at Camden Adult institute that started with pop songs of the era. Over the last 40 odd years, the choir has evolved. Today, although an amateur choir, it boasts a high level of accomplishment in its original and stylish arrangements of a jazz based repertoire of standards, and contemporary and pop and original songs.
Choirslist is organized into regional sites across the UK. We’ve launched in London in 2024, and will open up other cities and regions to match local demand.
