We are a friendly, medium-sized choral society based on the Isle of Dogs in East London. We have been giving successful concerts in East London and Central London for over 30 years. We welcome experienced singers and those with more limited musical skills who wish to improve their vocal sound and their ability to read musical notation. Recent concerts include a performance of the Mozart Requiem in St Paul's Covent Garden, and the Verdi Requiem in Southwark Cathedral.
London Docklands Singers is a friendly, medium-sized choral society based on the Isle of Dogs in East London. Founded and led by our musical director Andrew Campling we perform a largely classical repertoire several times a year in London's East End and in Central London. We are often accompanied by the professional players of the Marcel Sinfonia. Our members represent a wide variety of ages, backgrounds and musical abilities and are drawn from London and the South East. There is one thing we all share - a love of singing. Recent concerts include a performance of Verdi's magnificent Requiem in the fine venue of Southwark Cathedral.
