Hampstead Chorus is a friendly, unauditioned community choir. Our repertoire is generally classical music. The choir is based at University College School, Senior Branch in North West London. We welcome those who can sing in tune, but but have little or no experience of singing in a choir, those who have sung in the past and would like to resume choral singing and experienced singers too. Our Musical Director, Simon Walton, is a highly accomplished singer and musician, with infinite patience and enthusiasm. He is ably assisted by Edward Kemp-Luck, an experienced pianist and repetiteur. We perform three concerts a year, one at the end of each term. The choir is generally accompanied by a professional orchestra and soloists for the autumn and spring term concerts. The summer term concert is a smaller, more informal affair, followed by a party for the choir and audience.

We continue to be closely associated with University College School (UCS), where we meet for our regular rehearsals at 19:30 on Wednesdays during term time. Our concerts also take place at the School. Members come from both the UCS community and the wider Northwest London area.
