Stanmore Road Choir

All abilities are welcome at Stanmore Road Choir. No audition, and no need to read sheet music. Whether you've sung your whole life or you're not sure you can hold a tune, you'll fit right in. Come along to a free taster rehearsal first, on a Monday evening, to see if we're the right fit for you - zero pressure, no commitment, and you're welcome to just listen in if you'd rather. We offer two ways to join. Termly Membership is £90 per term, paid upfront or in three monthly instalments of £30 - this covers the whole term, not an ongoing subscription. Alternatively, Pay As You Go is £9 per session, with no commitment at all - just turn up and pay on the day, perfect if your schedule's unpredictable or you're not ready to commit yet. If cost would otherwise stop you from joining, we offer a fixed concession rate of £72 per term or £7 per session, available to students, pensioners, those on a low income, or anyone who needs it - no proof or explanation required. We sing a varied mix of pop, folk, jazz, and gospel, with repertoire changing each term and building toward an end-of-year concert. Beyond the music, it's a genuinely warm community - many members have made lasting local friendships through the choir, and we run socials throughout the year too. Ready to come along?
