Recruiting Younger Singers
Listing is free, and starts with completing a short form which helps our team check out the choir and then send the formal registration and full listing submission form to the choir membership manager.
HYC comprises three choirs, each with its own identity: a foundation choir (Highbury Training Choir, for Years 1-3), an intermediate choir (Highbury Junior Choir, for Years 4 & 5) and a senior choir (Highbury Youth Choir, for Year 6+). We welcome singers from a range of schools across Islington and Hackney, and always look forward to welcoming new members. For information about joining HYC, please visit our website.

The figure stated represents the lowest regular choir membership plan based on a 'per month' rate across a full year, excluding concessions. Always check with the choir.
Detailed Membership information
Membership is £60/term for 1 child, or £100 for 2 siblings. 3rd siblings go free, and we offer bursary places for those who need them. We also charge a one off joining fee of £10 which covers a Choir T-Shirt. We require completion of a membership form upon joining and the start of each academic year.
Complete our enquiry form and we'll send details of the next steps for joining this choir. Your details are only shared with the membership manager and no other party.
If you permit us to do so, we may follow up to request further feedback from you, both about our choir discovery service and on your subsequent choir experience to help us promote the experience to other. We will never spam you and you can unsubscribe from our communications at any time.

Highbury Youth Choirs
HYC is a welcoming space for young singers from the Highbury/Islington/Hackney area. We are community focused and strive to create a space for our members that is fun, safe, and educational. We sing a wide variety of music from classical to musical theatre, and recently appeared in Arsenal FC's away kit launch video!
There are now over 560 choirs listed. Of these, we include 3 types of listings. These include 1) choirs we have found on the web, but are not yet registered with us, 2) "registered" choirs who have completed a registration but who have not completed a singer recruitment listing, and 3) "verified" choirs who provided full details for singers to consider . We have over 100 full listings of choirs who are actively recruiting new members or who are operating a wait list.
We will send you information on the next steps, also passing on your details and questions to each choir new members recruitment team, and they will be in touch to explain full joining procedures.
Great. Simply click the "List a choir" button at the top of the page. It's free to list a choir whether you are a choir member, or you are a choir leader/organiser. If you are a choir organiser then we will be in touch to complete a full listing to recruit singers - this is also free.
