GCU is a friendly, high quality, auditioned choir which performs large choral works with professional orchestras and soloists in London's top concert halls, for example the Barbican Hall, Cadogan Hall and Smith Square Hall, along with smaller scale concerts in local churches, often Holy Trinity Sloane Square. Our young, dynamic, energetic conductor Jack Apperley insists on high standards while keeping rehearsals fun and uplifting. Our 100th anniversary season is coming up in 2032, and this choir is really going places.
GCU is an auditioned choir of around 120 singers which performs large choral works with orchestra and professional soloists in London's top venues like Cadogan Hall, the Barbican Hall and Smith Square Hall, as well as smaller scale concerts in Holy Trinity Sloane Street and other venues. Our conductor, Jack Apperley, is enthusiastic, energetic and great fun, but is also insistent on high standards. The choir is going from strength to strength as we approach our 100th anniversary.
