Our choir provides friendship, community and wonderful performances. The Harrow Apollo Male Choir (HAMC) is a long-established, mixed-experience, friendly choir that aims to perform to a professional standard in support of good causes, predominantly in Harrow and the surrounding area. We are a four-part male voice choir with a wide repertoire, with new songs introduced regularly. Our emphasis is on enjoying singing, whilst aspiring to a high standard, having fun and raising money for good causes. The HAMC membership comprises both choristers and associates. New members are always welcome. Singing is both fun and enjoyable so why not join us? New members are always welcome – why not come along and watch one of our rehearsals?
The Harrow Apollo Male Choir is proud of its strong links with the London Borough of Harrow and pleased that the Mayor is patron of the organisation. The Choir recruits from all over North West London and performs to audiences in London and surrounding areas, the UK and overseas. Singing plays a central role in our organisation signified by Apollo, the Greek god of music and song, in our name. HAMC continues to raise substantial funds for national and local charities Charities we have fundraised for include the Paul Strickland Scanner Appeal, The Stroke Association, Bentley Priory Museum and the RAF Benevolent Fund.
Choirslist London lists choirs across its 33 boroughs.
