City Chorus is a friendly, hard working choir, open to all with no audition. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings in the City of London and perform several times a year in beautiful venues. Our concerts feature top professional musicians. We are one of the oldest amateur choirs in London and sing a variety of classical and contemporary music throughout the year. Some choral singing experience and music reading ability is advantageous, but not essential. All works are thoroughly rehearsed, and sound files are available to help you learn the music.

We have been running for over 100 years (since 1920), and now have 80-100 members a year. Our musical director is Paul Ayres and our accompanist (piano and organ) is Philip Shannon. Our concerts feature top professional musicians.
