We are looking for singers in London to join our festive evening of music and readings for Christmas at Holy Sepulchre, The National Musicians’ Church on Wednesday 11th December 2024. Rehearsals will take place from 1-2 pm every Monday from 7th October. There is no audition, but a basic knowledge of music reading will be helpful. You do not need to be an expert! Just bring your love of singing! It’s free to join and there are no rehearsal fees for the first term. The choir will be led by Edward-Rhys Harry, Community Choir Director. Singing is a great way of meeting new friends, developing your confidence and improving your mental health and wellbeing. Why not come along and try it out?!
We are the National Musicians' Church based in the City of London. Our purpose is to be the Musicians' Church across five key areas of musical activity: Education, Wellbeing, Performance, Spirituality and Worship. As such, we seek to build community around various musical activities. We run cafe-style recitals where we offer lunch for our listeners, classical recitals, dementia-friendly concerts, education projects for all age groups and have a fantastic professional choir. We are also starting a community choir for amateur singers.
Choirslist London lists choirs across its 33 boroughs.
