The Zemel Choir, established in 1955, is proud of its international reputation as one of the world's finest mixed-voice Jewish choirs. Our wide-ranging repertoire embraces all the traditional Jewish cultures, Ashkenazi, Sephardi, Yiddish and Israeli, liturgical and folk music, as well as music by a wide range of Jewish composers. We regularly perform in major venues throughout the U.K. and overseas, and, besides singing well-known favourites, are particularly proud to present new music from contemporary composers.

We have performed in all the major London concert venues, as well as Synagogues and care homes in the UK and abroad, most recently in Vienna earlier this year. We have sung in St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Canterbury Cathedral and York Minster at many interfaith events, as well as on TV and radio, and also raise significant sums for various charities, Jewish and non-Jewish.
