Nunhead Community Choir

Love singing? Want to meet more local people? If you’ve often wondered about joining a choir but have never taken the plunge, now could be the time! Come along and enjoy a FREE taster session, any Thursday evening during term time. No auditions necessary! We'll always offer a warm, friendly welcome to new members. Our rehearsals have a great vibe and Ben our director is an excellent, enthusiastic teacher who makes sure we're all involved and learning. We’re a real mix of abilities from absolute beginners to experienced singers, and together we sound pretty good. We learn using sheet music and sing in four or five part harmony, but Ben makes the process easy! Many members don't read music and Ben provides recordings of all the voice parts in our website Members' Area and on a practice app so we can practise at home. Prices - Best value is to pay termly or half-termly (£80/£40) or it's £10 per drop-in session (£5 for under 35's). We absolutely don't want money to be a barrier, so just tell us if you'll struggle and we'll work something out. Oh, and don't forget to come along to the pub after rehearsals!
