Founded in 2014 by a group of university graduates, Godwine Choir is a young and dynamic non-professional chamber choir with a friendly, sociable culture. We typically perform five concerts throughout the year, mostly in London, but also at some events further afield including the English Music Festival in Dorchester. We’ve also recorded three discs, including previously unrecorded works by Dyson and Holst. We love to sing choral music from the renaissance to the present day, and we sometimes explore other genres too. Many of us regularly head to the pub after rehearsals, and other social events take place throughout the year. Godwine is led by our two co-founder Musical Directors, Alexander Davan Wetton and Edward Hughes. Rehearsal photography by Henry Terry.
