The Starling Voices are made up of awesome people living in London. Our singers come from a range of day jobs and lives to sing together each week and have a blast! The Starling Voices South is a non-auditioned community choir. We bash out epic pop and rock tunes in glorious harmony, with a splash of Broadway thrown in for good measure. We focus on telling stories through the songs we sing. Sometimes we learn simple movement to bring songs to life. We always have a lot of fun in the process! All are welcome to join the south London crew of Starling Voices.
Starling Arts is a not-for-profit organisation that advocates group singing for wellbeing. We aim to inspire happy and healthy communities across London and beyond. We run projects, choirs, workshops and events to sing our way to happier, healthier communities. We direct The Starling Voices, two fun and lively community choirs in London. The groups blend high-quality singing, awesome performances, and community spirit! Our choirs embody the wellbeing benefits of singing. Our methods boost moods and promote positivity. We are an inclusive choir community regardless of background, lifestyle, or musical experience. This community has led to marriages, babies, and lifelong friendships, all stemming from the power of singing together.
